How to Get Secret, Shiny & Mythic Squishies
The chase for rare Dumpling Squishies drives long-term engagement in My Squishy Box Store. Beyond Collection Book completion, Secret, Shiny, and Mythic rarities sell for dramatically higher Cash per customer — turning a lucky pull into a shop income multiplier that lasts until you pull something even better.
There is no confirmed pity system or guaranteed Mythic timer in current community data. Rare hunting is probabilistic, which means strategy focuses on maximizing pull volume in the right box tiers rather than chasing single opens.
Understanding the Rarity Spectrum
Squishies range from Common through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and up to Secret, Shiny, and Mythic top tiers. Each step up increases customer payout and Collection Book prestige. Common squishies appear frequently in basic boxes; Mythic pulls require premium or limited mystery boxes with low drop rates.
Our full breakdown lives on the rarities page with tier list rankings on the community tier list.
Box Tier Strategy for Rare Pulls
Higher-cost mystery boxes shift probability toward better rarities. Opening fifty basic boxes may yield fewer Rare pulls than ten mid-tier boxes at the same total Cash spend. Save Cash until you can afford the best box tier your level unlocks, then open in batches of ten or more.
Limited event boxes occasionally boost Secret and Shiny rates during seasonal periods. Watch our events page for limited box schedules and boosted drop windows.
Collection Book and Duplicate Management
The Collection Book tracks every squishy variant you have ever pulled. New entries sometimes grant bonus rewards on first discovery. Keep lower-rarity duplicates for shelf stocking while reserving your best pulls for premium display slots with highest customer traffic.
Completing the Collection Book is a long-term goal — see our dedicated collection guide for tracking strategies.
